High achievers need focus, not productivity
As a (now recovering) productivity addict, I implemented many tactics and tools over the years to optimize the time and energy of myself and my teams.
I wanted to squeeze every ounce of work out of every last minute I had.
"Do more stuff, faster" was my mantra.
While there was value in this, it was only helpful to an extent.
The more I work with type-A, self-starting, high-performing, get-shit-done type of people, the more I'm learning that what benefits them most isn't more of the same striving for efficiency gains.
It's focus.
Simplicity.
A willingness to say no more to prioritize the yeses.
Doing fewer things, but better.
